Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty
Ashton Blaise Whitty, an actor, was born on the 1st of October 1995, located in Berkeley, California. She is most famous as an actor, having appeared in Choices (2011), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2004) and Chrissie Mair's Content House.
Asia Argento grew up in Rome Italy. Her family is comprised of actors and she herself has been working in both fields. At the age of nine, Asia Argento was first seen in her debut film Sergio Cittis Sogni e bisogni. She played the principal role in Cristina Comencini's first movie Zoo (1988) and as well as being part of Michele Soavi's ensemble on The Church (1989). She was Nanni Moretti's daughter later in the season for Red Wood Pigeon (also directed Moretti) (1989). Close Friends (1992) by Michele Placido (both writer and director) is the year that Asia really began to begin to take off. The film allowed her to progress beyond the role of cute girls to more complicated and mature characters. The movie was well-received during the Cannes International Film Festival. Trauma was her first film produced with her father. Her mother, Daria Nicoledi, was Argento's most beloved actor. The film Trauma she played an anorexic looking for her parents' murderer. The Phantom of the Opera is the third time she has collaborated together with the director's father. The others are Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a Nozze demonstrated Asia's intense style that she exhibited in her playing. She played Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista. The role was in which she was so intricate that she earned the David di Donatello prize for best actress. Patrice Chereau was her director in Queen Margot, where she played a prominent role. The collaboration she had with Michel Piccoli, in Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion won her yet another David di Donatello award as well as Grolla di Oro. In 1994 Asia began the art of directing, and produced two short films, Prospettive and Prospettive In 1996 she made a documentary of her father and, in 1998, she directed a documentary about the cult director Abel Ferrara, Abel/Asia (1998) that received an award from the Rome Film Festival. Asia's debut feature film was Scarlet Diva (2000) in 1999, where she also acted as the lead actress and wrote the screenplay. In May of 2000, the film was made available both in Italy and across the world. It was also released in Brooklyn, New York it received an award from the Williamsburg film festival. Anna Lou was her first born daughter in 2001. After directing several music videos she had Anna Lou. In 2002, she appeared featured in The Red Siren directed by Olivier Megaton and starred alongside Jean-Marc Barr. Rob Cohen also directed the action-packed thriller featuring Vin Diesel. Asia is the author of numerous short stories which were released in several magazines.
